in a time when queer histories are increasingly erased, “our queer elders” is a project designed to elevate and celebrate the stories of the icons who have queered gender and societal norms throughout history.

every house I’ve known

it started as a pandemic project, when the concept of home was rapidly shifting. it ended as twelve songs, each about a different home in the past three decades. sometimes joyful, sometimes rancorous, “every house I’ve known” reflects on what it means to be home.
